I'm going back to trying to be healthy, today is not a good day. Last night was good, but strange. Venom had the first outdoor party of the year & I decided to go at the last minute. As usual I didn't end up staying in the actual party for very long, Dylan turned up at about 2 & then we decided to go on adventures. We wandered around the forest for hours, found a golf course to claim for ourselves, raked some sand, found a duck pond & tried skimming sticks across it, but in my state they just fell to the bottom with an extremely satisfying PLOPripplerippleripple. The whole night completely rid me of my longing for the countryside for a little while, everything there was so beautiful & Dylan is the best company ever when there aren't other people around. The police came to shut it down at 7am, we were still being intrepid explorers when we heard a resounding 'Boooooooooooooooooooooooo' & knew that it was time to mentally prepare to leave, never a fun part. After an escape through the forest in the other direction with the girls & a walk to Edgware, a replacement bus & the longest journey of my life, I got in at 10:30ish & slept until...just now. First party since I lived in the hostel, & coming back to find no receptionists with judging eyes was a marvellous feeling.

I've woken to a message from one of my new favourite authors, I think the guy's amazing. I wonder if he has a brother. I need a boyfriend over the age of 35 with a Canadian/American accent & an intellectual streak, who understands the importance of sarcasm. Well, that'll happen! Time to think about leaving the house & being productive (thinking, not actually doing, but sometimes thinking is doing, yeah?).
